Sixteen students from St. Agnes Academic HS, College Point; and Good Shepherd Parish Youth Group in Holbrook came to St. John the Baptist HS retreat Center to begin a weekend of prayer, study, and the forming of community. These students were the latest group who attended one of our youth preaching workshops. They learned how to bring to life their baptismal call to “preach the Good News” by using the gifts and talents that have been given to them by our loving God.

“An outstanding opportunity for those involved in Dominican-based ministries. Pray and reflect in Southern France where Dominic lived, preached and gathered the first Dominicans.” Please click here for the brochure and registration form.

On Thursday, September 6th, the Sisters of Saint Dominic of Caldwell had the privilege of hosting Spirituality Day 2018 for the administrators, faculties, and staffs of our sponsored academies: Lacordaire Academy (Upper Montclair, New Jersey), Mount Saint Dominic Academy (Caldwell, New Jersey), and Saint Dominic Academy (Jersey City, New Jersey). The day allowed personnel to take a step back from the buzz of ‘Back-to-School,’ engage with each other, and share individual gifts within the context of Dominican spirituality.
