Sister Veronica Greeley Chats with Molloy Students
As part of their course at Molloy College called “Spiritual Autobiography,” students visited the Queen of the Rosary Motherhouse in Amityville on November 5, 2018 to interview and hear all about the lives of some of our Sisters. Lauren Czarnecki, 20, loved talking to S. Mary Ryan who was a teacher and principal. “She told me that many people think that when great things happen to them, it’s luck. But it’s really God’s plan for us. I never took that into consideration before,” said Czarnecki, who is majoring in childhood special education. More

Teachers Juliette Fernan and S. Alice Byrnes lead this effort twice a year
Sixteen students from St. Agnes Academic HS, College Point; and Good Shepherd Parish Youth Group in Holbrook came to St. John the Baptist HS retreat Center to begin a weekend of prayer, study, and the forming of community. These students were the latest group who attended one of our youth preaching workshops. They learned how to bring to life their baptismal call to “preach the Good News” by using the gifts and talents that have been given to them by our loving God. More
