Springfield Dominicans Sisters, nuns find community in relationship
The Dominican Sisters of Springfield, Illinois, are helping Dominican nuns from Elmira, New York, relocate their monastery to Jubilee Farm in Springfield. On May 31, the Feast of the Visitation of the Virgin Mary to Elizabeth, Springfield Dominican Sisters M. Loyola Miller, OP; Catherine Stewart, OP; and M. Ancilla Caulfield, OP, visited the nuns in Elmira. The nuns will be living with the sisters in Siena Hall (Springfield motherhouse) as they wait for the completion of their new monastery. In a recent article, the nuns wrote: “The Springfield sisters have brought us the strength, joy and encouragement of Christ just as Mary brought help and support to Elizabeth.” Read more on the web site of the Order of Preachers
