In 2003, Pixar animation delighted us with its classic fish tale, Finding Nemo. Nemo introduced the world to a blue tang fish with short term memory loss named Dory, voiced by Ellen DeGeneres. Thirteen years later, Pixar (now part of Disney), along with writer-director Andrew Stanton, gives us a new animated classic, Finding Dory, with Dory in the central role.

The Sinsinawa Dominicans, along with ten communities of Midwest Catholic sisters, held prayer services promoting welcoming refugees in Madison, Wisconsin and Dubuque, Iowa on June 20.
SINSINAWA, Wis.—June 25 marked a day of transition for the Sinsinawa Dominican Congregation of the Most Holy Rosary. The morning was filled with heartfelt appreciation for the Prioress and Council who served the Congregation from 2011 to 2016.

The Maryknoll Mission Institute is hosting the program, “Embodying the Option for the Poor,” from July 17-22, 2016. The program will be presented by Maria Teresa Davila, PhD, a professor of Christian Ethics at Andover Newton Theological School. The registration fee is $50 and tuition is $200.
In June the Peace Center hosted the second annual Peace Camp for nineteen children, ages 7-10. The camp is for children “who would not have been able to have a camp experience because of economic circumstances.” The campers were accompanied by Dominican Sisters Suzanne Brauer, Pat Thomas, and Ceal Warner, along with volunteer counselors.
