Faith and Film: Finding Dory

In 2003, Pixar animation delighted us with its classic fish tale, Finding Nemo. Nemo introduced the world to a blue tang fish with short term memory loss named Dory, voiced by Ellen DeGeneres. Thirteen years later, Pixar (now part of Disney), along with writer-director Andrew Stanton, gives us a new animated classic, Finding Dory, with Dory in the central role.

In June the Peace Center hosted the second annual Peace Camp for nineteen children, ages 7-10. The camp is for children “who would not have been able to have a camp experience because of economic circumstances.” The campers were accompanied by Dominican Sisters Suzanne Brauer, Pat Thomas, and Ceal Warner, along with volunteer counselors.
