Dominican Sisters of Sparkill Call for Social Justice
Recently, the Dominican Sisters of Sparkill took part in two social justice projects to support refugees and the Dominican Family in Iraq. The first project was to decorate pillowcases for the “Give Refugees Rest” campaign—a campaign to end Islamophobia and welcome Syrian and Muslim refugees into the U.S. The second project included shared messages of support “to increase awareness of the ongoing crisis facing their Dominican Family members and those they serve in Iraq.” Read more and view photos
