Dominican sisters across the United States participated in prayer rituals, peace pole blessings, and other activities for Earth Day. Dominican Sisters in Committed Collaboration, comprising five congregations in the Northeast (Amityville, Blauvelt, Hope, Sparkill and Caldwell), approved a corporate stance on climate change. The Dominican Sisters of Blauvelt also hosted a presentation in partnership with the Sierra Club at their motherhouse.
