Racine Dominicans – Finding Sanctuary at Bethany Apartments
Bethany Apartments and its programs have been serving the Racine County for 25 years as a place “where domestic abuse victims could find sanctuary and time to rebuild their lives.” Sister Evelyn Lins is one of several Racine Dominicans who founded the apartments. Read article in The Journal Times

In June the Peace Center hosted the second annual Peace Camp for nineteen children, ages 7-10. The camp is for children “who would not have been able to have a camp experience because of economic circumstances.” The campers were accompanied by Dominican Sisters Suzanne Brauer, Pat Thomas, and Ceal Warner, along with volunteer counselors.
