Sisters welcome three novices in Pakistan

On May 9, the Sparkill congregation in Pakistan gathered to celebrate the reception of three young postulants—Mehreen Abbas, Reema Ashraf and Anna Bashir. “We are very grateful for these courageous young women,” said Sister Eileen Gannon, a member of the congregation’s Leadership Team who recently visited the community in Pakistan and spent time with each woman. “They are a true gift to us, to our greater Dominican Family, and to the people and community that surround them in Pakistan.” Read more
