Hope Dominicans Congregation elects new leadership
The Dominican Sisters of Hope (Ossining, New York) held their General Chapter April 22–27. The meeting, held once every five years, calls the sisters together to renew relationships, engage in deeper conversations around the congregation’s vision and values, and to discuss the sisters’ legacy and future developments. During Chapter, the congregation also elected a new Leadership Team: Sister Lorelle Elcock, OP was elected to a second term as Prioress. Sister Judith Brunell, OP was elected to a second term as Councilor. Sister Catherine Walsh, OP, Sister Constance Lynn Kelly, OP, and Sister Margaret Anderson, OP, were also elected as Councilors. This team will serve for five years until the next Chapter meeting in 2019.
