English professor Sister Brigid retires after 43 years

Sister Brigid Brady, OP (Caldwell), a long-time presence in the Caldwell College English Department, will be retiring from teaching this May, having begun her service to the College in 1971. Sister Brigid , along with three other employees, was recognized recently at a campus gathering of faculty and administrators. A specialist in Medieval Literature, Sister Brigid has been highly regarded as a regional presenter on that subject as well as in the area of the history of the English language. Sister Brigid also holds the unique distinction of being the only living Caldwell Dominican sister to be a native of the town of Caldwell, New Jersey.
