Group works to raise awareness of plight of rural women

The Working Group on Girls wanted girls from around the world to participate in the UN advocacy process Feb. 26–March 7 as part of the 56th session of the Commission on the Status of Women. The Dominican Leadership Conference invited two students from Saint John the Baptist Diocesan High School in West Islip, New York to participate.
