Dubuque’s Got Sisters! tour March 30–31
Are you a woman interested in religious life? Then sign up for “Dubuque’s Got Sisters!” and get ready for a unique experience. Join Dubuque-area Sisters for a 24-hour tour of four Iowa and Wisconsin convents and share experiences through praying, dining, and storytelling. Local transportation will be provided, and there is no fee to attend.
The “Dubuque’s Got Sisters!” event begins Friday, March 30 at 5 p.m., and ends Saturday, March 31 at 6 p.m. To register or for more details, e-mail Sister Rita Cameron, PBVM, at vocations@dubuquepresentations.org or call her at (563) 588-2008. “Dubuque’s Got Sisters!” is sponsored by the Sisters of Charity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Sisters of the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Dubuque Franciscan Sisters, and Sinsinawa Dominican Sisters.
The evening will begin with prayer and overnight hospitality on Friday at Mount Loretto in Dubuque, Iowa, with the Sisters of the Presentation. On Saturday, the group will visit the Sisters of Charity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the Dubuque Franciscans, and the Sinsinawa Dominicans, Sinsinawa, Wisconsin. “Come join us for Dubuque’s Got Sisters to pray with us, eat with us, talk with us,” said Sister Jeri Cashman, OP, who will accompany the tour group. “You will witness the faithful living of vows, the beauty of our community and ministry, and the graced life of our interconnectedness!”
