Within days, Hurricane Eta and Hurricane Iota have left destruction across Central America. Some members and institutions of our Dominican Family in the United States and Canada have begun to mobilize relief efforts for support of the disaster area. As you may already know, communities in Nicaragua, Honduras, Guatemala and El Salvador have suffered the brunt of the impact.
Our Dominicans in Central America have made a call out to us to support their efforts in these large regions that have been impacted by the hurricanes. Please see attached letter in English or Spanish.
Communities desperately need our support now. Here are three different organizations who can receive your monetary help:
- Catholic Relief Services: Catholic Relief Services Hurricanes Eta and Iota relief support
- In El Salvador: SHARE El Salvador ETA Hurricane Relief
- In Guatemala: American Friends Service Committee Hurricane Relief
