Dominican Sisters of Blauvelt Participate in Dominican College’s Founders Week

“The Dominican Sisters of Blauvelt participated in Dominican College’s Annual Founders Week celebration during September 19 – September 24, signifying the 800th Jubilee of the Dominican Order. Sister Kathleen McManus, O.P., Associate Professor of Systematic Theology, from the University of Portland gave the Founders Week Keynote address, and Sister Mary Doris, O.P., Founder and Director of the Siena House, delivered the Living the Legacy speech. On Thursday, a Dominican Jubilee Liturgy took place at the Dominican Sisters of Blauvelt Convent Chapel and many students participated in a Preaching in Action Day at several of the Sisters Ministry sites. Founders Week concluded on Saturday, September 24 with the Dominican Sisters of Blauvelt 66th Annual Autumn Festival.”
