Sparkill Dominicans Dedicate Peace Pole During Assembly
SPARKILL,
NY July 7, 2008 -- Over 350 Sparkill Dominicans attended their annual
assembly this past weekend and part of their ritual was to erect a
peace pole. The international symbol of peace included the phrase,
"May Peace Prevail on the Earth" in English, Urdu, the language
of Pakistan, Spanish and Salish, a Native American language. Watch
