Eight Maryknoll Sisters participated in Pax Christi’s Way of the Cross gathering near United Nations headquarters in New York City on Good Friday, April 3. The sisters presented the second station, “Jesus takes up his cross,” with prayers and signs addressing the plight of immigrants and refugees in the United States, especially children. Hundreds of people joined the procession starting at the UN and along Second Avenue to 42nd Street.
