Ministry Opportunities Assistant Professor of Theology Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate their support of the university's Catholic Dominican mission, excellence in teaching, and scholarship. Teaching load is 3/3 and includes opportunities to teach in the interdisciplinary seminar programs which lie at the heart of the University’s undergraduate core curriculum, and to work with students at the undergraduate and graduate level who are preparing for pastoral ministry. Administrator The Dominican Sisters seek a creative and committed administrator to join our staff at Dominican Retreat, McLean, Virginia. Position is full time and includes some evening and weekend work. The administrator provides the leadership and direction needed to promote the preaching mission of the Dominican Sisters and moves the mission of the Dominican Retreat forward by providing the necessary planning, organization, staffing, fundraising and management. Tasks include, but are not limited to, working with the retreat staff and program director in creation, development and effectiveness of programs, directing and managing lay and religious staff, working with a Board of Directors and oversight of various departments. Requirements: bachelor’s degree (major course work in spirituality, business or related field preferred) and three years’ related work experience.
